In collaboration with Fondazione Studio Rizoma, Radio Dopo, EPYC, and Meeraqui. Arrington de Dionyso integrates ancient soundmaking techniques with trans-modernist inquiries into the nature of consciousness. His improvisations utilize voice and reeds in a clash of punk liberation and free jazz spiritual research.
In 1995 he founded the genre destroying No Wave Gospel band Old Time Relijun which garnered critical praise and a loyal fanbase over endless tours of North America and Europe.
In 2009 he created Malaikat dan Singa integrating dancehall rhythms with gamelan scales, using the Indonesian language to interpret the mystic poetry of William Blake, and opening a phase of multiple collaboration in Indonesia and with Indonesian artists including Senyawa, not only for concerts but also being involved in ceremonies and trance rituals, always aiming to channel spirit.
