Teatro Garibaldi Funding Scheme
1. Co-creation Renovation Fund: À la carte Support Opportunities
Supporters can choose to finance specific elements of the renovation or ongoing projects:
– Children’s Film Screen: Help us purchase a new screen for the young audiences’ programme.
– Stage Equipment:Support daytime theatre companies and rehearsals.
– Safety: Contribute to essential restoration and security upgrades.
– Lighting and Sound Systems: Improve the technical experience for artists and audiences.
– Safety: Fund alarm systems and night theatre staff.
– Artist Residency Programme: Sponsor a residency or presentation, by theme or artist.
– Neighbourhood Activities: Help us grow community outreach and local collaborations.
– Garden: Add plants, seating, and a shared open space.
– Café Area: Support renovation and convivial moments for audiences.
– Soft Seating: Provide comfort for informal events and side-stage gatherings.
– Each funded item will be publicly acknowledged and documented through progress photos, cost breakdowns, and short reports, allowing everyone to see how their contribution shapes the theatre’s rebirth.

What It Means to Be a Friend
Friends share in the life of the theatre, not as spectators, but as co-creators. They receive:

– Invitations to open rehearsals and studio visits
– Opportunities to meet artists, curators, and activists in residence
– Participation in collective assemblies shaping the theatre’s direction
3. Membership Structure
We propose four levels of engagement, accessible to different capacities while maintaining a shared sense of community and belonging.
I. Friend of the Theatre
(€60 / year or €6 / month)
For individuals who want to support and participate.
Benefits:
– Free access to monthly Friends Coffee Morning at the theatre
– Early programme news
– Invitations to open rehearsals & community assemblies
II. Supporter Circle
(€180 / year or €15 / month)
For those who wish to contribute more substantially.
Includes all the above, plus:
– 10 % discount on tickets, bookshop & bar
– Priority booking for special events
– Access to behind-the-scenes studio visits with resident artists
III. Patron Circle – Amici e amiche del Garibaldi
(€600 / year or €50 / month)
For those who directly sustain artistic creation.
Includes all the above, plus:
– Invitation to annual Patron Dinner inside the theatre
– Guided tour of restoration works and archives
– One free guest ticket per semester
– Direct updates from artistic direction
IV. Founding Circle / Donor Partners
(€2 500 + / year) For individuals, companies, and institutions committed to long-term cultural support. Includes all the above, plus:
– Recognition as Founding Supporter in the foyer and online
– Invitation to closed programme previews
– Option to co-support a residency, workshop, or festival
– Strategic participation in theatre development & cultural impact conversations
