Between Land and Sea 2026 inaugurates a programme of encounters and artistic practices dedicated to the ecological, social and political transformations of the Mediterranean. Just as sediments preserve traces of the past and the conditions for what is yet to come, the festival explores the memories of territories, forms of resistance and possibilities for imagining shared futures.
The Festival opens with the vernissage of Land of Wells, a project by Vanessa Lacaille, Mounir Ayoub and Hamed Kriouane, published by Lalla Hadria Editions and produced and curated by the Swiss Institute. Through maps, photographs and videos, the exhibition portrays the Tunisian desert as a living territory, focusing on water, communities and the relationships between humans and the environment.
Free entrance.
