BOOK PRESENTATION

From PFAS in rivers to non-swimmable seas, from water rationing to inadequate treatment, and including its disproportionate use in agriculture and by data centers: water, our most precious resource, is under pressure. The Water Atlas, created through the collaboration between Legambiente and the Heinrich Böll Foundation – Paris, gathers stories, data, challenges, and solutions, providing a global snapshot of consumption, waste, and impacts worldwide and in Italy. It then focuses on Sicily, at the heart of the Mediterranean, identified as one of the global hotspots of climate change and, in recent years, a symbolic region in the fight against the water crisis.
