Campobello is a piece and documentary project by Eva-Maria Bertschy in collaboration with Abou Bakar Sidibé ans Daniela Macaluso, produced by HerProductions and Fondazione Studio Rizoma.
Set in Campobello di Mazara (Sicily), the project addresses issues related to the exploitation of agricultural labor, migration, mafia presence, and structural racism, weaving artistic practices and languages with direct testimonies.Trough a multidisciplinary approach that combines theater, video and music, the production tells the stories of those living on the margins of European society, with a focus on both local and global dynamics of exclusion. Campobello emerges as a critical and participatory reflection on contemporary social inequalities, within the framework of a transnational cultural commitment.
