the project explores the relationship between the human body and the water element, taking Venice—a symbolic city of coexistence with water – as a starting point for a broader reflection about sustainability, environmental fragility  and socio-cultural transformations. The chosen art works investigated adaptive practices such as fishing, craftsmanship, and environmental protection as well as the impact of pollution and tourism, proposing new visual narratives and materials to create new balances between humans and water.

Artists: Francesco Bellina, Eliza Collin, Roberto Ghezzi, Giovanna Silva and more.
