Fondazione Studio Rizoma and la Consulta delle Culture invite to an encounter with the Cameroonian artist Hervé Youmbi. In his work, he often integrates traditional Cameroonian sculpture techniques within his installations and into performances and videos. This allows him to juxtapose indigenous African art traditions with contemporary global art conventions, destabilising what is regarded as traditional versus contemporary.
