A focus on: Between Land and Sea 2025 – Ep.3 Majazz Project x Chullu – Palestinian Sound Archive

The Between Land and Sea 2025 catalogue brought together personal contributions reflecting on this year’s theme, “Significato,” as a shared space between practices, memories, and visions.

For the festival, Majazz Project together with Chullu presented “Street Palestinian Wedding and Bedouin Music Culture”, a new vinyl and A6 booklet collecting recordings made during Bedouin weddings in northern Palestine and the Galilee in the 1970s and 1980s, restoring a sonic and visual heritage in which music, ritual, and collective memory intertwine.

For Mo’min, “Significato” is an act of active memory: preserving sonic heritage as a political and cultural gesture, connecting generations through listening, and transforming the archive into a living space where the past continues to resonate in the present.
