Climate Policy Bootcamp
2 days of workshops and policy work to take part in a pathway of ideas that will be presented directly at COP31 in Turkey next November.

We are looking for students and activists from Palermo and internationally.
Under 30
April 21–22, 2026

Deadline: April, 17

A special bootcamp launched by FSR on April 21 and 22 as part of Earth Day Med – the Mediterranean climate festival. If you want to be part of a young group that will have the opportunity to work and participate in meetings held at Teatro Garibaldi with leading figures in national and international environmentalism, this call is for you.

Participants will work on a Manifesto whose recommendations will be presented to the Presidency of COP31, which will take place in Turkey next November. FSR, in collaboration with some of its strategic partners, will support a small group of selected young residents who will act as observers and special witnesses at COP31, focusing on the role of the Mediterranean and its agenda—recognizing the symbolic value of the region as a priority area for implementing climate action measures.

At a time marked by escalating conflicts and growing geopolitical tensions across the Mediterranean, “Mediterranean dialogues and their intersections” become not only necessary but a deliberate choice: bringing together thinkers, scientists, private sector representatives, civil society, media, as well as the international community of experts and think tanks. The Mediterranean climate festival aims to be a high-level platform to discuss environmental policies, as well as the main political, economic, and security dynamics affecting the region, with the goal of promoting dialogue and helping to chart pathways toward stability and cooperation.

Bootcamp participants will have free and full access to all festival events.
