Tuesday, April 21, 9:00 PM, Teatro Garibaldi
The Waterbowls project (2006–ongoing) takes its name from the instrument created by Tomoko Sauvage, inspired by the Jaltarang, a traditional instrument from southern India.
Through extensive research into the tactile properties of materials, Sauvage has transformed porcelain bowls into electroacoustic water instruments. Clay, stones, shells, and glass objects become tools capable of amplifying imperceptible vibrations thanks to water.
Event in collaboration with Meeraqui.
