Continente Sicilia, Borderline Modernity and Unghers Afterall are three books born from the desire to explore the relationship between Sicily, architecture, and research. The presentation brings together architectural research, photography, and documentation to reflect on how a territory can be reinterpreted. Sicily is seen not as a margin, but as a laboratory, a place to study processes and tensions that extend beyond the island itself. It’s an opportunity to discuss the role of research in understanding moments of transition and how images can make visible aspects of architecture that often remain outside the contemporary debate.
With photographers Giovanna Silva and Tommaso Mola Melegalli, and curators Pietro Airoldi and Izabela Anna Moren.
