Campobello – Citizens’ Assembly
A Citizens’ assembly open to all, providing a space for voice and self-determination. Activists, farmers, and workers in Campobello working to improve working and living conditions during the olive harvest share their experiences and demands, engaging in dialogue with the public and the city.
This is an important moment to reflect together on the meaning of dignity, work, and community.
The assembly will feature those who accompanied the artistic team of “Campobello” in their research and whose stories inspired the show:
- Yaya Njie, farmworker and activist, Sportello Sans-Papiers (Porco Rosso)
- Giulia Gianguzza, social worker and activist, Sportello Sans-Papiers (Porco Rosso)
- Liliana Catanzaro, activist and city councilor of Campobello di Mazara
- Angelo Giorgi, activist and olive grower from Campobello
- Cheikh Sene, activist and member of Ragazzi Baye Fall
