LAGOSS presents Aquapelagos, an immersive performance built around the soundscapes of island and marine environments, where terrestrial life meets oceanic space.
Drawing on the concept of the aquapelago, which describes the profound interdependence between island communities, human activities and aquatic ecosystems, the trio explores hybrid sounds emerging from the encounter between land and sea.
Accompanied by original projections and videos, the performance weaves together hydroacoustic recordings, underwater dub, kosmische drifts and cyber-tropicalism.
Sound and image dissolve geographical and acoustic boundaries, transforming island folklore into a fluid and disorienting sonic tide that questions how marine spaces are inhabited, imagined and experienced.

LAGOSS is an audiovisual trio formed in Tenerife, comprising Gonçalo F. Cardoso, founder of the Discrepant label, and musicians from the Canarian experimental music scene Mladen Kurajica and Daniel García.
Immersed in real and imaginary island mythologies, the group defines its language as future island folklore or cyber-tropicalism.
Their music spans pseudo-ethnographic field recordings, exotica, unstable dub, kosmische drifts and psychedelia constructed through live looping. The result is an organic and unpredictable sonic universe that connects avant-garde electronics with deep tropical sensibilities.
LAGOSS has performed across Europe, the United States and Asia, with concerts in Japan, South Korea, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
