{"id":6228,"date":"2026-02-19T14:17:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T13:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/studiorizoma.org\/?p=6228"},"modified":"2026-02-19T17:29:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T16:29:44","slug":"a-focus-on-between-land-and-sea-2025-ep-02-abdel-karim-ougri","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/studiorizoma.org\/pt-pt\/editorial\/a-focus-on-between-land-and-sea-2025-ep-02-abdel-karim-ougri\/","title":{"rendered":"A focus on: Between Land and Sea 2025\u2028- Ep.02 Abdel Karim Ougri"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">A focus on: <em>Between Land and Sea 2025<br \/>\n<\/em>Ep. 2- Abdel Karim Ougri<\/p>\n<p>The Between Land and Sea 2025 catalogue brings together personal contributions from the artists invited to engage with this year\u2019s theme, \u201cSignificato.\u201d For this edition, each artist was asked to offer both a personal contribution and a definition of the term \u201cMeaning,\u201d turning the publication into a collective space for reflection across practices, languages, and visions.<\/p>\n<p>During the festival, Abdel Karim Ougri presented the exhibition \u201cOf Time and Tide\u201d at StudioTopo, curated by GiorgioMega,\u00a0featuring the work \u201cAbove You, Above Me.\u201d The video call was transformed into a contemporary nomadic language: from Pesaro to Casablanca, shared skies and sunsets became imaginary bridges. Through multi-channel video, digital traces, and silences, the installation redefined intimacy and diasporic connection in the glow of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>For Ougri, \u201cSignificato is the value and explanation we give to things,\u201d a collective process embedded in languages and practices.<\/p>\n<p><a
