This year bulevard has invited artist Genny Petrotta to present\u00a0 a series of works produced around her film\u00a0<i>Mamma Perdonami \/ M\u00ebma M\u00eb Fal<\/i>\u00a0(2023 ) developed at her village of origin, Piana degli Albanesi, in Sicily. This avant-garde work re-imagines a tragically forgotten moment in December, 1944 when\u00a0Arb\u00ebresh\u00eb\u00a0revolutionaries briefly created a mountainous peasant republic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In dialogue with the Albanian Cinematheque, Genny chose to invite Fatmir Koci whom she met in 2007 in her home town, as he was shooting his documentary essay\u00a0<i>Via Mare Adriatico<\/i>.
