Mixing low and high technologies, she creates hybrid forms that are by turns humorous and sensuous\u2014in recent projects, exploring the automated workplace as a site for cooperation and compromise between human and robot workers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Katherine Behar holds a professorship in New Media Arts at Baruch College CUNY and is a 2023 Creative Capital Awardee in Technology. Her books include\u00a0<i>Object-Oriented Feminism<\/i>,\u00a0<i>And Another Thing: Nonanthropocentrism and Art<\/i>, and\u00a0<i>Bigger than You: Big Data and Obesity<\/i>. In 2024, the Beall Center for Art + Technology presented her major solo exhibition <i>Ack! Knowledge! Work!<\/i>.
