She studied philosophy and German literature in Berlin and Istanbul, followed by law at Humboldt University of Berlin. Her first play, Die Vernichtung, was nominated for the M\u00fclheim Drama Prize, and Ersan Mondtag\u2019s production was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen. \u00ab\u00a0Theater Heute\u201c magazine named her \u201eYoung Playwright of the Year\u201c. Her work has since been staged at Theater Basel, HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin and the M\u00fcnchner Kammerspiele, among other venues.<br \/>\nHer debut novel, Kinder der Stadt, was published by Kiepenheuer &amp; Witsch in 2023.
